The Board's Revised registration standards webinar on 24 August 2020 is now fully booked!

The revised registration standards took effect on 1 December 2019. To help practitioners better understand the changes and their obligations the Board is hosting a webinar on Monday 24 August 2020 at 7:00 to 8:30pm AEST.

Chair of the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, Ms Julie Brayshaw, and Board member Dr Justin Scanlan will discuss recency of practice, professional indemnity insurance arrangements and continuing professional development.

There will also be a dedicated Q and A session to further answer any concerns practitioners may have about the revised standards.

This event is fully booked. If you have registered and find you are no longer available to attend, please contact webinar@ahpra.gov.au to cancel your registration. Or cancel online using the link in your registration email.

If you are unable to attend, a recording will be available on the Board’s website two weeks after the broadcast.

Technical tips for attendees

After registering, you will have received a confirmation email from GoToWebinar containing information about joining the webinar.

To participate, you will need a computer connected to the internet and headphones or speakers to hear the broadcast. The email confirming your registration will contain a link to join the webinar on the GoToWebinar website.

If you would like to attend the presentation using a tablet or mobile phone, GoToWebinar is available as an app for Apple and Android devices. If using a tablet or mobile phone, you will need to enter the webinar ID number from your confirmation email.

If you’re planning to join the session with a colleague or as part of a group, only one person needs to register (provided you watch on a shared device or computer).
